Review: Million Dollar Slots

Million Dollar Slots
Million Dollar Slots by Peter Liston
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Million Dollar Slots is a book about Peter Liston’s experience as an advantage slot player. I picked this book because I’m interested in gambling and progressive jackpots. While the author spends little time describing the math behind his strategies, he spends most of the book telling readers about his own experience. Much of his experience is typical of gamblers; he was bored with his job, so he decided to take up a new challenge by trying to beat mystery jackpots. The gambling provided him with an escape from his daily life.

I enjoyed reading this book because it’s fun to learn about gamblers who have set out to strike it rich. I’m sure lots of other readers will share this fantasy. Playing slots full time doesn’t sound very fun to me, but I can understand how Liston was excited by the idea that he could solve the puzzle of mystery jackpots and win lots of money.
